Industrial horizontal dry powder mixing machine is the U type horizontal blending mixing machine used for mixing the dry powder in different industries. Horizontal ribbon mixers are widely used in chemical industry, battery raw materials, coatings, dyes, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, food, feed, additives, refractory materials, new materials, electronic plastics, ceramics, fertilizers, metallurgy, mining, dry powder mortar, etc. The mixing efficiency of the horizontal ribbon mixer is twice that of the conical mixer. It can be build in carbon steel or stainless steel as per different mixing applications.

The horizontal mixer is composed of a U-shaped container, ribbon mixing blades and transmission components; the U-shaped long cylinder structure ensures the small resistance movement of the mixed materials (powder, semi-fluid) in the cylinder. The forward and reverse rotating spirals are installed on the same horizontal axis to form a low-power and high-efficiency mixing environment. The spiral-shaped blades are generally made into double or triple layers. The outer spiral collects the materials from both sides to the center, and the inner spiral gathers the materials from both sides to the center. Materials are transported from the center to both sides, which can form more eddy currents in the flow, speed up the mixing speed, and improve the mixing uniformity; the belt pulley is used to drive the cycloid reducer. Compared with the large torque of the gear reducer, the belt drive has the advantage of protecting the transmission components in the event of overload.

It can adopt pneumatic discharging method which has the advantages of fast discharge and no residue. And there are also manual butterfly valves or pneumatic butterfly valves for the ultra fine powder materials or semi-fluid materials. Manual butterfly valves are economical and applicable , Pneumatic butterfly valve has good sealing performance against semi-fluid, but the cost is higher than that of manual butterfly valve. There also can be add in heating or cooling function if required by the user, There are two heating methods available: electric heating and thermal oil heating: electric heating is convenient, but the heating rate is slow and the energy consumption is high; thermal oil heating requires an oil pan, oil-conducting power and pipelines, which requires a large investment, but the heating rate is fast , lower energy consumption. The cooling process can directly inject cooling water into the jacket. The jacket has a large heat exchange area and a fast cooling speed. The motor and the mixing spindle are directly connected through a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, which has a simple structure, high operating reliability and easy maintenance.
