The City of Vibration welcomes good news again, and national industry associations settle in Xinxiang County

On the eve of the opening of the first Zhongyuan Agricultural Valley Vibration Machinery Industry Expo, another good news came from the "City of Vibration".

On August 22nd, the Vibration Machinery Branch of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association was officially established in Xinxiang County, our province. Industry insiders stated that this is a national industry association that currently focuses on vibration machinery and will play an important role in setting standards, promoting innovation, and strengthening supervision in the future.

 

 

Why does such a high standard industry organization settle in Xinxiang County? What was the original intention of its establishment? What role will it play? The reporter conducted an interview with the relevant person in charge of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association.

The 21st branch of the Heavy Machinery Association focuses on the vibration industry

The China Heavy Machinery Industry Association is a cross regional and cross departmental national industry organization approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, engaged in the production, scientific research, design, complete sets, education, and other units of metallurgical machinery, mining machinery, material handling machinery, heavy forging machinery, large castings and related supporting parts. It has more than 1200 member units.

Divided by segmented industries, including the Mining Machinery Branch, Material Handling Engineering Equipment and Service Branch, and Bridge Crane Professional Committee, the number of branches of the Heavy Machinery Association has been maintained at 20 in recent years.

Today, it welcomed its 21st member - the Vibration Machinery Branch.

"This is a decision we have made based on the current development needs of the industry," said Wang Jisheng, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association. Currently, vibration machinery is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, coal, and building materials, and vibration technology is needed in many aspects such as screening and feeding, such as in agricultural production and food processing, grain granulation, fruit sorting, and so on. At the same time, vibration machinery is actually a highly theoretical industry, and how to use algorithms to control the frequency of vibration, reduce destructive effects, and improve practicality requires high innovation capabilities.

"At present, the problem of the vibration machinery industry being large but not strong is quite prominent. Measures need to be taken in both technology and industry, and there is a lot of room for improvement." said Jing Xiaobo, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association. The purpose of establishing the vibration machinery branch is to promote technological progress and industrial upgrading through industry collaboration, technological innovation, and industrial cultivation, and to expand and strengthen the vibration machinery industry, playing an important role in achieving the goal of becoming a manufacturing powerhouse.

It is reported that the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association will provide guidance to the Vibration Machinery Branch at a higher level and on a larger scale, helping the branch to identify and solve industry development bottlenecks and common technical problems through platform building and planning, and guiding the direction of enterprise development.

Why is Xinxiang County?

Why did a national industry association choose to settle in Xinxiang County?

It is reported that the development of the vibration machinery industry in Xinxiang County started early and the industrial layout is concentrated. In the 1970s, Xinxiang County had state-owned enterprises such as Henan Xinxiang Hongwei Machinery Factory and State owned Xinxiang County Vibration Equipment General Factory, making it one of the eight characteristic industrial bases in Henan Province.

After more than 50 years of development, there are currently 334 vibration equipment production enterprises, more than 110 supporting production enterprises, and 18 vibration enterprises above designated size. In 2022, the total output value of the vibration industry in the county was nearly 10 billion yuan, accounting for 30% of the total output value of the national vibration industry. At present, a development pattern with a wide range of products and a high market share has been formed. Xinxiang County can produce more than 1000 specifications of vibration equipment in 45 series, including mining screens, light industrial screens, and swing screens. The products are widely used in multiple key fields such as steel, metallurgy, coal, mining, and petrochemicals, and are exported to more than 80 countries and regions in Asia, America, Europe, etc., with a domestic market share of 63%.

It is reported that the core tasks of the Vibration Machinery Branch mainly include four aspects--

Make good industrial planning and lead industrial development. Conduct a thorough investigation of vibration machinery enterprises, conduct research and data analysis, and make scientific plans from the aspects of industrial development positioning, industrial system, industrial structure, industrial chain, and spatial layout. Through industrial planning, lead the healthy and orderly development of the industry.

Promote industrial upgrading and elevate industrial height. The vibration machinery industry belongs to traditional non-standard industries, and the standardization of products and accessories among various enterprises is not highly universal, lacking scientific and unified technical specifications and product standards. The Vibration Machinery Branch plans to start with some general indicators such as environment (dust, noise), safety, quality, etc., and standardize the reference of national, industry, and enterprise standards, formulate a series of execution standards, and promote the vibration machinery industry to move towards modernization and market-oriented industrial manufacturing.

Promote collaborative innovation and optimize resource allocation. Utilize their respective strengths, strengthen cooperation, and significantly improve the level of production, research and development, testing, and operation and maintenance of each enterprise.

Establish a self-discipline mechanism and build a healthy ecosystem. Through government supervision, association guidance, and enterprise participation, establish a self-discipline mechanism for the vibration machinery industry, and jointly maintain a healthy ecosystem for industrial development.

"I hope that after the establishment of the association, we can fully leverage our advantages in market, information, talent, and other aspects to provide valuable opinions and professional guidance for the development of the vibration industry in Xinxiang County, and promote the high-quality development of our county's vibration industry." Zhu Xiancheng, Secretary of the Xinxiang County Party Committee, stated that Xinxiang County will continue to optimize the business environment, strengthen service guarantees, fully support the branch in its new development, promote cooperation between the two sides to move towards broader fields, deeper levels, and higher levels, and strive to create a new situation of win-win cooperation.
